I graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska in the spring of 2021 after two years in Lincoln working as a teaching assistant. I am now back in Washington, DC, where I’ve worked as a journalist for more than 20 years. Before I went back to school, I was a news editor at Argus Media, a London-based company that covers commodity markets and assesses commodity prices. I covered the Keystone XL pipeline and the collapse of solar manufacturer Solyndra for Bloomberg News, where I worked as a reporter for five years. I also have been a reporter and an editor at The Hill newspaper.

The portfolio page includes my professional clips. The blog is mostly classwork.
